The White Space Project, a nationwide campaign providing young women a pedestal to express their creativity, took over the Adidas store in Soho yesterday. Hosted by Coco & Breezy, event goers were given plain white t-shirts, with a simple Adidas trefoil in the center, and the means to decorate them as desired. Music provided by my good friend, Jasmine Solano, and a humble three song acoustic performance from one of my favorite new singers, Yuna. I’ve been listening to Yuna since there were only YouTube performance videos of her floating around the internet. It’s incredible to see her delicate melodies gaining worldwide notoriety. She deserves it, undoubtedly. Onwards and upwards.
